What Does My Widal Test Report Indicate?

Just got my sons widely test reports. It reads salmonella Type o : 1:80 dil (positive), salmonella type h : 1:80 dil (positive), salmonella paratyphoid ah : 1:20 dil (negative) and salmonella paratyphoid bh : 1:20 dil (negative). What does it mean?

Hello dear
I understand your concern
salmonella Type o : 1:80 dil (positive), salmonella type h : 1:80 dil (positive) have clinical significant.
Some time during first week of fever it will give titre up to 1:80 and then it will increase in next week.
Consult the MD physician take proper prescribed drug like
Tablet cefixime 200 mg twice daily for 5 days.
Repeat the test after 6 days, if still titre is high and fever, weakness then you have to take azithromycin 500 mg for 3 days to eradicate the infection.
Take acetaminophen for fever. Tablet rantac
Maintain hydration by drinking plenty of lukewarm water.
Avoid outside food and water
take light diet like rice, roti, khichdi, banana, curd and applesauce
Take proper bed rest.
