What Does My Stool Analysis Test Report Indicate?
Child, one month old, has been experiencing watery stools for the last ten days. The child s skin is still elastic and the soft spot of the head is not depressed. Stool is yellow or yellowish-green and has a foul odor. The stool has been foamy for he last four days, but not with every passing. When the stool is yellow, there is mucus present. The child has strained to pass stool since one week of age. A stool analysis reveals the following: Colour: Yellow Consistency: Soft/Runny Red Blood Cells: Absent White Blood Cells: 3-5 Parasite Eggs: Absent Other: Absent Pus Cells: Absent Occult Blood: Weakly Positive
