Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I'm 21weeks pregnancy. last week I have done my anomaly scan all are normal and also done Doppler but in this my doctor told diastolic notch problem . Is there any effect on my baby please suggest and also my doctor suggested clexane (0.6ml) is it safe?
Hello Dear , I deeply understood your concern . @ Uterine artery doppler showing early diastolic notch is a useful marker for fetal well being, representing reflected blood flow of uteroplacental circulation and in depth predicting adverse perinatal outcome which may range in form of - fetal growth restriction - need of cesarean section due to fetal distress - 5 minute Apgar score @ Clexane is Category B drug for pregnancy not expected to cause harm to the unborn baby as it does not cross the placenta . Hope this made your query clear well . Feel free to ask any health related issues in future anytime. Thanks for using Health care magic . Wishing you best outcome for your pregnancy & may God bless your Angel with fine health ahead from birth . Regards dear .
