Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, 10 days back my creatinine was 1.17 and Uric Acid level was 7.4, I consulted to doctors. He gave to me medicine. After 10 days again I tested my kft(kidney function test) 3 . Where got Uric Acid is 4.3 while creatinine level 1.27, is there any problem with kidney or it is normal activity to vary these value. Pls suggest, I am too nervous. Gyan
At 1.27, your creatinine is out of normal range and it means that your kidney function has been compromised a bit.
But I'd certainly like to know your GFR( Glomerular Filtration Rate).
If your GFR is more than 80 ml/min then there is hardly any reason to worry. But I'd suggest that please try to avoid painkillers and high protein foodstuff. Talk to your doctor for the causes of increased creatinine.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Prabhash Verma, General & Family Physician
