What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?

I get blood work done every 6 months - I had colon cancer ( surgery ) in 2005 and a new colon cancer in 2010 ( surgery ) have not had radiation or chemo either time My HGB number dropped from 15.8 to 15.3 on today s blood work - I have taken a lot of Ibuprofen in the last 2 weeks ( hurt my knee ) and wonder if it could account for a drop in that number I am well aware that I am still well within my normal range but am usually fluctuating between 16.3 and 15.8 And is there anything else ( besides blood loss ) that could temporarily drop that number ?

Hi thanks for your question.
Drop of Hb from15.8 to 15.3 is not a big concern.Good thing is that you maintaining a healthy Hb level around 16 mg/dl.This small drop in Hb could be due to chemo radiotherapy.Nothing to worry.
Hope this answers your question.
