What Does My Blood Test Report Indicate?

Hi please help me. I had sexual intercourse in January, after this i got my period like bleeding for 4 months, hpt cames negative, uterus has no pregnancy, is of normal size. From some days i feel movements in my belly , i think their is 17weeks pregnancy. But dr said i have my period so no pregnancy found. I did yesterday a blood test for conformation, b_hcg 2.3 . what is mean of this? Ia their miss understanding that i feel movement in my belly?

Hello,

A blood level of BHCG is quite an accurate test for pregnancy. To be considered positive BHCG should be 5 or more. In your case, being less than 5 (2.3) means that you are not pregnant.
This is also well supported by the lack of a pregnancy in your womb and the fact that your periods are starting to come normally now.
