What Does My MRI Scan Report Indicate?

My husband had a car accident on oct. 27th and he never got a follow up MRI done and had a concussion and lately he;s been having increased deficits like his left eye he cant see out of, his hands are hard to control and his speech has been slurred and his memory is just almost gone. He is a drinker but he only drinks to be able to sleep since he has severe adult adhd. Should i be concerned about mini strokes and or brain problems from teh accident?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi,

Your husband's symptoms could be related to possible repeated small strokes (or small vessel disease of the brain.)

I recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical exam and a brain MRI.

It is also necessary to take vitamin B1 supplements, as he is a drinker.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka,
Cardiologist
