Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve had a cough for about 4 weeks and it won t go away. Generally it s a dry cough. I went to the walk in clinic and the doctor noticed I had small white dots at the back of my throat and took a sample for the lab, though I haven t heard back yet. I ve also been feeling chronic muscle pain in general, though it seems to focus sometimes on my legs. Also I have been experiencing on and off fevers. I m wondering what this could be?

HI Thanks for posting your query to Healthcaremagic.
It's a throat infection . But is it due to Bacterial or Viral or Fungal has to be evaluated because if it's bacterial then it requires Antibiotics , if it's fungal it requires Anti-Fungal agents .
Kindly do follow up of the throat swab test report as it will give an idea whether it's due to Bacterial or Viral or Fungal.
Till then do salt water gargling 3-4 times a day .
Revert back to me with the report.
