What Does Missed Period With Negative Result In HPT Indicate?

Hi, I am 45 years old, I have practiced unsafe sex on the 24th day of my cycle ( cycle between 26 and 29) and now I am one week late. I usually have a regular period. I have taken the pregnancy test at home twice and it showed negative results. What could my case be?

So,,having sex at 24th day of cycle where you donot ovulate cannot cause pregnancy

Highly unlikely.

So, I suggest wait for 10 days and if no period yet, then get an ultrasound abdomen once.
