Hi,

She has been prescribed a total of 6 months of treatment. Hence it could be anti tuberculosis treatment. Kindly mention you are on which medication.

Pleural effusion means fluid accumulation in pleura that is covering of lung. For mild pleural effusion nothing is to be done. If fluid accumulation more then it can be drained by pleural tapping.

You can Consult pulmonologist for examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
