What Does Mild Pulmonary Hyperaeration As Seen In This Chest X-ray Report Mean?
ehi good day, I finished my medical examination last Aug. 13 2015 to used for my pre employment requirements to the company im applying for. the result of my chest xray stated that; LUNGS ARE CLEAR BUT MILDLY HYPERAREATED. HEART IS NOT ENLARGED. AORTA IS UNREMARKABLE. DIAPHRAGM & SULCI ARE INTACT. THE VISUALISED BONES ARE UNREMARKABLE. and the impression of my chest xray says that I have MILD PULMONARY HYPERAERATION.. Doctors what does it mean? is it a serious condition? do i nid to give up my application to the company because of this?

No it is not serious as pulmonary hypertension is you is mild, but you need to get evaluated for the cause of this pulmonary hypertension. This is because if pulmonary hypertension severity increases with time then it can turn out to be a serious issue.
The cause of pulmonary hypertension are many but common among them are Heart problems and lungs problems. In your case the chance of lung problem is high as x ray shows hyper aerated lungs, it means there is some degree of air trapping happening in your lungs.
Hence kindly get evaluated further . But no need to panic or give up applying.
