What Does Loss Of Consciousness During Bowel Movement Suggest?

My 18 year old son had an episode today. He was sitting on the toilet when his right hand clenched up when he attempted to unclench his left hand did the same he then attempted to stand up but passed out and fell into the shower and in the process bit down in his tongue. 15 mins later he woke up in shower and threw up. He is not on any meds. He does not use illegal drugs or alchol and stated no pain or sob prior to passing out. No one was home at the time. No history of seizures. What possibly could of happened?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Welcome at HCM
i have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns...
Based upon your history it is difficult to diagnose. It may mimic a seizure but it could be a vaso vagal syncope or postural hypo tension...
He should meet a doctor so that he can be examined and investigated appropriately...
May he get well soon
