What Does Itching In The Torso Indicate?

I have been experiencing an itch on my torso since about May of last year. Sometimes I cry it gets so bad. I have no rash from it and plus my body gets hot in certain areas. I have spoken to my Dr. about all the time and still I get no relief. She has sent me to a nurologist and they said I need to see a dermatologist. I m at my wits end with no relief!

Hello,

Yes, you need to see a dermatologist. These allergic conditions are being managed by them better.

They give you antihistaminic creams or oral tablets or steroid supplementation to decrease these symptoms. Without an examination, it gets difficult for us to treat anything.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
