What Does Inferior And Lateral Eschemia In A Stress Test Report Of A 76-year-old Who Has Recovered From Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer Indicate?
I just had a stress test that indicated inferior and lateral eschemia. Pump indicated 65% working. Now they want to do an angiogram. I have lymphedema in my right leg from stage 3 ovarian cancer. Also my innards were taken out washed off and returned so does this make the angiogram more dangerous. I live in Eau Claire WI. I had my cancer surgery at Rochester twenty years ago....would it be better to go back to Rochester ? I am 76 yrs old . Could thestress test be a false positive? I feel well. But do not know what to do.

Angiography is a somewhat noninvasive procedure or it is less invasive. It is nothing to do with the history of malignancy and other. If this is the block found in angiography then may need angioplasty (Stenting) or in the severe lesion, it may need bypass surgery called CABG.
