What Does Impaired Speech In A Toddler Indicate?
Hi. my grandson is going to be 3 yrs. old this month and he is not talking. He grunts and screams to get our attention or gets by the hand when he wants something. He is an only child and is with mom all day! He won t let anyone else hold him and he screams when other people touch him. Yet he can repeat the ABC s and can recognize a few letter s on the key board! He climbs everywhere and loves playing outside and runs pretty fast! When my daughter is holding him and people talk to him he pulls my daughter s hair or hits her. He has done that to me if I am holding him and someone talks to him! He hates some noises like vacuum cleaner or even the electric mixer. Should we be concern with his behavior or the fact that he isn t talking yet?

in schoo l. when he get his company and repeat the words some children speak late or speak wrong pronunciation
