What Does High BP Along With Dizziness And Headache Indicate?
My stepdaughter in hospital 20 year old female. Not pregnant. High blood pressure (180-220/100-130) only controlled by meds thru an IV. Double vision in left eye. Eye actually turned involuntarily toward nose. Dizziness and headaches. Weight approx. 300 lbs. YYYY@YYYY Thanks.
I am sorry for the problems your stepdaughter is going through.
Double vision in left eye, dizziness and headaches she is experiencing are due to high blood pressure (bp). She is young and this high bp could be due to possible hormonal problems (e.g. thyroid issues) or any intracranial (brain) issues (e.g. brain tumor). Local (head) trauma should be also investigated.
She needs to consult with cardiologist and neurologist and run a few lab tests like: - thyroid function test - liver/kidney function test - possible ct-scan of head or even MRI depending on the findings
Wish fast recovery.
