What Does Heart Regurgitation Mean And What Is The Danger?
I was diagnosed today with heart regurgitation. can you please explain in simple terms what this is and am I in any kind of danger? im a 60 yr. old f dayemale and weigh 135 . I smoke about 1/2 pk. of cigarettes a day I am trying to quite using one of those e- cigarettes.

Actually regurgitation means leakage.There are 4 valves in our heart ,if any valve is leaking ,we call it regurgitation of that Valve.As far as management is concerned i need to know which valve is leaking and what is its severity.Iwould be glad to guide you if furnish these details which can be obtained by colour doppler echocardigaphy.one thing is clear you must stop smoking!
