What Does Grey Discoloration In The Fingers Indicate?

I broke arm. Fiberglass cast one week ago. Fingers have turned grey....is this normal for an arm cast? Have three to four weeks to go.Cast feels tight sometimes. Fingers occasionally tingle which i stop by adjusting cast up or down on arm. Please advise.
