What Does Gram Positive Cocci In Pairs And Chains, In The Culture Test Suggest?
What does gram positive cocci in pairs and chains seen, gram negative bacilli seen, us cells - 25 hpf & eli cells- 25hpf for an infant of 3-4 months mean? He is currently undergoing TPE (FFP transfer @ 60 ml/day since last 4 days and his creatinine level is .8 as of now). He is suspected of HUS D-ve with ATN.His weight kepps on fluctuating,but since last 2 days his weight is constant at 3.5 kgs. Waht does all these data indicates and is it fatal for child. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
