What Does Frequent Vomiting In An Infant Indicate?
My Baby is 1 month 7 days old. she is on naan pro 1. she is vomitting after every alternat feel. my doctor suggested me domstal drops. but this is not helping. it is 20 days now but there is no difference in her condition. i have also hospitalised her for 4 days where she was fine. please suggest me some better option, today we have given her cow milk with 2/3 water
Hello, Welcome to the HCM. Dear there are many factors ,which can cause vomiting at this age.Regurgitation is common because of immature GIT development. But as from the history it seems your child might need some investigations like ultrasound abdomen to rule out any obstruction in intestine .Also exclusive breast feeding is recommended at this age but if there is some problem in breast feeding then try to change other formula top feed to rule out wether he is not tolerating current feeding . In the last I would suggest to keep eye on his blood electrolytes level to avoid any complication. Hopefully my answer will be helpfull. regards, Dr.Maheshwari
