General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello. i can understand your concern.
Based on the symptoms of your child, it is a case of acute gastro enteritis.
Primary aim of treatment is fluid replacement through ORS or i.v fluids.
the medications are fine for the case. if loose motions and vomiting do not subside or if the child becomes less active , kindly admit at a hospital. I.v fluids would have to be administered. Give foods that are easily digestible.
A widal test can be done to check for typhoid.
Hope i have answered your query. Have a nice day.
