What Does Extreme Pain In Chest During Orgasm Indicate?

I just had crushing chest pain in the left center part of my chest during orgasm while masturbating. Pain lasted for less than two seconds. Could not tell if musculoskeletal or angina. Is masturbation or orgasm associated with heart attack? 52 years old with calcium score of 21 three years ago. Single spot, on LAD, density 1.1. Thank you.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Strenuous activities are known precipitating factors for angina attacks and vigorous masturbation is one of them which provokes autonomic response via release of stress hormones to high levels. Though the duration was short, I would recommend an EKG examination for sure to rule out any undue clinical event taking place in coronary circulation pathway.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
