MY STEPFATHER IS 60 YEARS OLD AND HE IS CURRENTLY RECOVERING FROM A KNEE SURGERY AND SUFFERS FROM DIABETES AND HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE. JUST THIS WEEK HE HAS BEEN EXPERIENCING SOME DIZZY SPELLS AND EVERY NOW AND AGAIN HE HAS A SUDDEN LOSS OF VISION AND SEES ONLY BLACK WITH RED SPOTS . IT IS ACCOMPANIED BY LIGHT HEADED NESS AND CONFUSION AND DISORIENTATION, i WORRY THAT HIS DOCTOR IS NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO HIS BRAIN ACTIVITY AND FEAR THAT IT MAY GET WORSE ANY SUGGESTIONS\

You should send him to neurologist to check for TIA transitory ischemic attack.
Meanwhile he needs to keep blood pressure
within normal range and need to consult his doctor for blood pressure medications.
The eye changes may be due to diabetes affecting his bloot vessels and is the same for brain vessels.
