GOOD EVENING... THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND ATTENTION. MY SISTER IN-LAW IS DUE IN THE NEXT WEEK OR SO. RECENT ULTRASOUND OF THE HER SON SHOWS A NOSE THAT IS WAY TOO BIG FOR A BABY... WORRY!!!! DEFORMATIES... SOME TYPE OF MANIFISTATION OF A SERIOUS SYNDROM... PLEASE HELP US.

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Big nasal bone is usually constitutionally large. It is not usually associated with any chromosomal anomaly or syndrome. However, Beckwith Weideman Syndrome in which there is enlargement of other body organs should be ruled out by a detailed anomaly ultrasound.
