Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I often feel like I still have food in my throat after I eat. I ve slowed down, chew well and don t talk with food in my mouth. My GP thinks it may be from overuse of Advil for back/knee pain but I stopped using it 3-4 months ago and still have this sensation. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Note: it doesn t hurt - it s just odd.
Foreign body sensation in throat or dysphagia can be treated after enough examination clinically. It is not very uncommon symptom and no need to bother much about it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
