General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Most probably there might be some bleeding due to vessel injury. The slight oozing causes accumulation of blood and produced discoloration. Generally it will settle by it own without treatment. However you have to consult your surgeon and get an ultrasound done to know the extent of bleeding.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
