What Does Dilation Of Lateral Ventricles In The Below CT Scan Report Suggest?

My fathers ct scan report says There is dilatation of the third and lateral ventricles, increased width of subarachnoid space and basal cisterns with increased prominance of the interhemispheric and sylvian fissures and widened sulcal spaces. Rest of the things are normal. He has been diagnosed with cerrohsis and asitis.

in old age the brain is atrophied and shrunken in size which causes dilatation of ventricular system, sylvian fissures and cistern. it may not necessarily indicate any disease.
