Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I-pill is an emergency contraceptive pill. Such pill when taken within 72 hours after an unprotected sex should prevent pregnancy by causing breakthrough bleeding within 5 - 7 days. If the bleeding doesn't happen by 10 days form the day of intake of pill, you need to seek medical attention promptly by consulting Obstetrician for evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope the information provided helps.
All the best.
Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran. S
