What Does Continuous Staring And Rolling Of Eyes Indicate In A Child?

Hi, my son is 17 months old. About 5 months ago he was having these 'episodes' where he would stare off into space and stand still. You could not grab his attention. this lasted about 10-20 seconds. We took him and got an EEG done. He did not fall asleep for the test and it was only 40 minutes long. The results were 'clear'. and everything came out normal. We met up with the doctor and she said " he looks perfect, if there is ever a time where you cannot grab his attention in these 'episodes' by picking him up we will administer a take home EEG scan." so we went home and were happy with the diagnosis. Well 2 days ago, he started rolling his eyes up to his head. He did it twice. Then yesterday one, and today twice. It only last 2 seconds long. What should we do?

It appears to be absence seizure. it is mainly diagosed clinically. Repeat EEG. Your son should be observed by neurologist. If advised can be admitted. MRI of brain can be done. With advice after seeing the result treatment can be started.
