What Does 'collection On The Lung Wall' On Chest X-ray Mean?
My husband has asthma and has been on a series of prednisone tablets and antibiotics for the last two months...he feels tired all the time and experiences shortness of breath...he went for a chest xray and the doctor found out that there ia a collection on the lung wall and that he has an enlarged heart but his blood pressure is normal. He will be sent for a series of further tests and x-rays...is it serious

madam ...your husband has collection ..it means that she has developed pleural effusion ...it may be due to chest or cardiac problem ...usually small effusions clear with drugs and bigger ones need drainage
