General & Family Physician, Dr. Priyanka's Response
Hi,
Your boyfriend needs to see a healthcare provider for an examination, and potential diagnosis, as clear stringy discharge can be a symptom of various conditions such as sexually transmitted infections (STIs) or other infections. It's also possible that this discharge is normal for him and unrelated to any disease. It's always better to be safe than sorry, so you should consider seeing a doctor for an evaluation.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
