What Does Chest Pain On The Left Side Indicate?

I have been having pain in the left side of my chest it comes and goes and travels in to my jaw and left shoulder had an ekg was told at er pain is not cardiac related but problem can t be treated in the er what could be going on when pain comes I start coughing and spitting up clear liquid

It could be from reflux. I suggest you try an over the counter medication like prilosec or see your doctor for an opinion. I must also tell you that an EKG cannot rule out cardiac disease. If you are at risk for heart disease, see your doctor for a stress test to be ordered.
