What Does Chest Pain On The Left Side Indicate?

I have had pain in my lower left chest for going on 6 weeks. I thought it was a muscle strain although I couldn’t pinpoint what I did to cause it. The pain is not getting better, but it is also not getting worse. Is it worth having it checked out? I can’t figure out why it won’t go away.

dear user

chest pain is acommon problem of adult age and have more than one cause for investigations

costochondritis is one of the most common causes as it cause inflammation of costochondral area and causes pain with laughing or breathing

second cause is chest infection as these causes pain of chest and need to be examined clinically by your doctor

some times there is myococrdial infarction may cause that and you need to do stress ecg test to role that out
severe effort also that causes your fatigue in this age considered main cause of these symptoms

also stress and anxiety have great role in these symptoms so try to avoid stress and any psychological troubles

wish you healthy life
