Noted the history and understood the concerns. Such a problem that you facing like having to go for a poop frequently or difficult to control specifically after having a normal delivery 8 weeks ago can be due to the following reasons: Proctocolitis prodices lots of mucus whcih is slimy and hence soils the anal area easily. Laxity of the anal sphincter post delivery is known to occur and usually is self limiting with changes in diet and taking some medications if required. But one needs to know the exact diagnosis which can be made in the following ways: Per-rectal digital examination by a General Surgeon or a proctologist. Ano-proctoscopy and colonoscopy with biopsy if required. Tests of stool and blood All these help to get a proper diagnosis and a plan for management.
