General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Latex may be a contributor to some discomfort in the case of allergy to it. On the other hand, soap can also cause local irritation.
I would advise you to avoid soap on your genital area after intercourse, especially if you have used condoms. If you notice that the symptoms are not better in a few days or you notice any worsening, please see your doctor.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
