I m worried about my 6 week old baby. He is my third child and exclusively breastfed. He is gaining weight really well and seems pretty content. However, over the past week he has been fussy at the start of a feed, then continues to drink well and his nappies lately have contained mustard/brown mucus looking globules and string. He often has a lot of wind and spits up a lot. Concerned about his stools and what those globules are. I did notice a lot of clear mucus in his mouth the other day which he was choking on!
