Hi Dear,

UNDERSTANDING YOUR CONCERN.

The symptoms you mention in query are most likely to be oral thrush , which appear when on antibiotics . Oral thrush is an infection in the mouth caused by a fungus, which can cause a coated or white tongue and areas of soreness. There are some other reasons also like weekend immunity , poor oral hygiene and some underlying condition.

Maintain proper oral hygiene .

Apply orabase gel for itching and burning.

Give her multivitamin supplement .

Discontinue penicillin if not needed .

If it persist even after discontinuation of penicillin then then consult pedodontist for proper examination to find out exact cause and rule out condition like viral infection and pemphigus vulgaris .

Doctor may prescribe anti fungal drugs topical/oral for 5-7 days along with anti inflammatory drugs .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
