What Does Bleeding Post Unprotected Sex Indicate?

I was off of birth control for a month. Then I started a pack then had my period. After my period I started 3 days of a new pack but stopped because I am TTC. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex for two days and starting today I have been bleeding. Is there a chance I m pregnant?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Bleeding after sex does not indicate the pregnancy.
It could be a mechanical trauma, vaginal infection, cervicitis, cervix and endometrial dysplasia and hormonal imbalance.
I advise you to consult the gynecologist and undergo vaginal examination, vaginal swab test, PAP smear, colposcopy and reproductive hormone analysis.
For trauma water sitz bath with added betadine is helpful.
For Vaginal infection: metronidazole plus lactobacillus suppository and proper pelvic hygiene by using V-vaginal plus wash.
Other cause require specific treatment.
Avoid stress, drink plenty of fluids and healthy diet.
Hope this my help you
