What Does An Unruptured Follicle During Ovulation Indicate?
sir, I have done folicu study till 16 th days the growth of right & left egg was right going the ET was 11 ..But the egg was not rupture can I get the reason for the same My doctor say this reason for none of conceiving. So can help us now what can be done..
Ideally, the follicle is in one of the ovaries, called dormant follicle. It starts to increase in size and should rupture by around 13th day of menstrual cycle, in a normal cycle of 28 days. Simultaneously, endometrium would also prepare and would increase in thickness.
But, your follicular study indicates that the follicle has not yet ruptured even on day 16 and endometrium is showing thickness more than normal. In such situation, the chances of conceiving would decrease as the environment would not be conducive for implementation even if follicle gets ruptured and fertilized. Hence, for timely ovulation to take place, you would require ovulation induction medication such as clomiphene. Kindly consult a gynecologist for further evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
