What Does An Indentation On The Chest Indicate?

my granddaughter has an indentation at the base of the front of her neckor actually on her chest. She has had it since birth. She is seven now. She has said twice this week after exertion that she could not breathe. Obviously she was breathing but it just makes me wonder if that area has some conection to this complaint.

If it is present since birth then mostly it's not a problem.Chest indentation is normal in many cases.To be on the safer side,do a chest x Ray and pulmonary function test .
