What Does An Acne On The Nose Indicate?

I have a left side of nose acne type lesion that has lasted for more than two months. Sometimes inflamed like my atopic dermatitis, sometimes a whitehead like acne, but always present. I live on an Island with one dermatologist who last encounter prescribed me cyclosporin for eczema on my knuckles. Should I start swimming for the mainland now, or wil I live a few months?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

If it’s acne, you can apply topical Clindamycin gel for symptomatic relief. Avoid oily foods and do steam bath to your face.
You can safely swim and it won’t worsen the symptoms.
If the lesion persist, it is better to consult a a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
