What Does Abnormal Resting Electrocardiograph Mean?

I took a pysical because my employment requires it every year I was doing fine for 15 years until now that I got my results I was told that my resting electrocardiograph is abnormal ( early transition in v1 rule out posterior infarct) what does this mean

You need not worry.

An abnormal EKG requires further evidence. It is tool for diagnosis with other tests, clinical evidence and symptoms .

Only early transition in any ECG is not a thing to worry. It can be a normal variant. It can be due to right ventricular hypertrophy which means that the right chamber of the heart is overloaded or has to work more.

I would suggest you to report to a clinician if you have symptoms like chest pain, dizziness, palpitation or breathlessness. Your doctor will be able to correlate clinically.
