What Does Abdominal Pain On The Left Side Indicate?

I take 2 Magoxx400 tablets at 12:30p and try to take 1 sucralfate tablet 3x day on an empty stomach 2 hours before a meal. I take 2 40mg omeprazole 2x day (7:45 am; 4:30pm) at least 45 minutes before meals I took a sucralfate tablet last night and had terrible stomach pains when lying on my right or left side. Should I be concerned?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Yes, you should definitely evaluate this pain. You are basically taking antacids to suppress gastritis related pain. Since your pain is worsening better to consult gastroenterologist and get done clinical examination and ultrasound examination of abdomen. You may need upper GI (gastrointestinal) scopy if ultrasound is abnormal.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
