What Does A Small Dent On The Skull Indicate?

I notice a small dent maybe about the size of a quarter toward the back part of the crown of my skull. No symptoms. I just thought it was weird. I am a 69 year old female. I have MS pretty benign except for pain and fatigue. Only take meds for hypothroidism. I have osteopenia. Any idea what might cause this?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It could be a lipoma or a bone tumor. It is important that you see your own doctor and a possible referral to further diagnostic imaging.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
