Hi Inside the urethra of my penis i have noticed a small flap of skin (about the size of a pin head ball) which is attached by a small string of skin, it is a little paler in colour and has the same consistency as the rest of the skin. There is no pain, itching, burning nor discharge.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Skin tags on penis are caused by friction because of clothing, hormonal causes or heredity. They are harmless but if neglected can get infected, inflamed or blood filled. It can be removed by Cryogenics, cauterization, cutting or tying them off. So get it removed. However, you should visit ER & get evaluated to screen out in case this tag is a growth that can be harmful (malignant). On rare occasions these tags/growths may have links with STD, get all STD tests done to screen out any such disease. Go for protected sex, take care.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K.
