What Does A Red Spot On The Penis Indicate?

I have one red raised dot on the head of my penis. I ve had it for about 4-5 months. It doesn t hurt, it doesn t itch. If I pick at it, it goes away and reappears almost instantly. It seems like a small blood blister, but it doesn t excrete any blood or any other fluid.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As the lesion does not itch or bleed or hurt, it should be observed over months. If there is any problem, then it must be treated. As it does not satisfy criteria for any lesion, you should show this to any local doctor.

Local doctor will observe it and after detailed history and examination, may make diagnosis. But my advise is to observe it over months and leave it as such at present.

I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
