What Does A Recurrent Rash On The Penis Indicate?

Hi, my boyfriend has been having a recurring rash on the head of his penis. He went to the doctor and did multiple test and got different medications, injection and creams but nothing helps. And even tho there is nothing wrong with me I have to be getting treated as well. Just need to know what could be causing it and a possible long term solution as it is very stressful and frustrating. We don t even have sex because if it.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Recurrent rash on penile head which is not cured by routine drugs can be due to
1. HPV infection
2. Malignant lesion.
So better to consult dermatologist and get done biopsy from that rash.
Biopsy will be tell you if it is HPV infection or malignancy.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your boyfriend. Thanks.
