Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
On Monday I noticed a 2 linear rash on my back that I haven t been able to explain. Its not very itchy but burns at times - I believe because it rubs against my bra (sorry) Ive tried using cortisone but it seems the same. any other recommendations or do you recommend visiting my doctor ?
Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern. I think that your symptoms are related to atopic ekzema. Atopic eczema can be treated with these medications: 1)creams and ointments containing the steroidhydrocortisone. These products may help control the itching, swelling, and redness 2)antibiotics (to treat infected skin) 3)antihistamines (to help control itching). 4)Apply coconut oil 5)Apply jojoba oil Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help, thanks!
