What Does A Pimple In The Genital Area Indicate?

I have what appeared to be a large swollen pimp on my genital area, near the vaginal opening right on the lip. I put antibacterial ointment on it and it went away but now I have another one on the opposite lip, It doesn t really look like a herpes out break. Can it be a bacterial infection?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, possibility of bacterial infection is more likely.
So better to consult gynecologist and get done clinical examination of vagina.
You will need antiseptic, antibacterial ointment.
Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated.
Wear only cotton undergarments.
Avoid moisture and perspiration in private parts.
Avoid sexual intercourse and masturbation for few weeks if you are sexually active.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
