What Does A Lump On The Leg Indicate?

I am 79 years old and in good health and active. But all of the sudden I have a knot on my leg and it is trendier. Dr told me it was a knot in my vein and they don t know why it happens. Gave me some antibiotics. Just concerned that this isn t normal and should be a cause.

* Must be assessed with doppler ultrasound of the same .
